Bobby CURTOLA Memoriam
It was a hot summer night in July '65 when I walked into the dance hall. There must have been hundreds of teenagers. The band was really rockin'; when Bobby took to the stage, the place went wild, the girls all screamed and the hits started rolling. He could really work the crowd, and what a singer - he danced and moved around that stage and sang right to you. He wore flashy stage clothes and beetle boots; we all thought he was the coolest dude. Many years have come and gone, I've seen the who's who of world entertainers, but my best memory is the night I saw Bobby Curtola and the Martells dishing out the hits! RIP Bobby, you were the best.

I loved your music all my life and when I finally got to meet you the first time you brought me up on stage to sing with you. Was the most nervous I'd ever been. I then met you again at your son's restaurant in Edmonton. You were the best. RIP

My best friend (and next door neighbour) went out on a date with Bobby Curtola. Her father was his driver and he set it up for her. She wasn't impressed - but I WAS..I told her I would gladly take her place and I wish to this day that she had let me go instead of her. I Loved him so much. Such a great entertainer. RIP Bobby Curtola.

Not only was Bobby a great performer he was also a great, humble man who REALLY cared about his fans he would often stay late & chat w/ his many, many fans. God speed Bobby & take care luv Coreen
