Bradley Bratten Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 11, 2017.
Bradley Allen (Brad) Bratten, age 44, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, August 9, 2017. A graduate of Carter High School, where he was editor of the school newspaper and a member of the Carter 4-H club. Brad traveled to Washington, D.C. as a member of the Knox County 4-H delegation and helped dedicate the Tennessee Room. After high school, Brad attended the University of Tennessee where he graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Psychology with a minor in World Religions.
Brad was an avid outdoors enthusiast and always had his faithful and loving hybrid wolf, Atsila, at his side. Brad especially loved hiking and mountain bike riding and being a major player of S.O.L.A.R. After college Brad's love of the outdoors drew him to the west coast where he put his education to work managing several farms so successfully that he was due to become a Manager/Owner next year.
We will miss Brad's sense of humor and his unique ability to make each of us feel special and better off for having known him. Brad is survived by his parents, Allen and Alice Bratten; younger brother Andrew; multiple cousins including kindred spirit Leigh Dalton, of Dedham, MA.
Brad's wishes were that his immediate family celebrate his life with a private ceremony which will be held at a later date. Condolences may be offered at www.mccartyevergreen.com
