Bradley Venturelli Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 11, 2025.
Bradley Vernon Venturelli, 77, of Venice, Florida, formerly of Orland Park, Illinois, passed away at his home on Monday, May 5.

Born on August 10, 1947, in Chicago, Brad was the beloved son of the late Ario and Betsey Venturelli. He deeply adored his wife, Katherine (Kathy), and his three daughters: Lori (John) Martos, Vicki (James) O'Connor, and Gina (Michael) Huskey.

Following his 1966 graduation from Bogan High School in Chicago, Brad honorably served 3 years in the US Army. Upon his discharge, Brad began his career as an apprentice electrician. As a loyal member of IBEW Local 134, he built a respected career marked by hard work and dedication. After retirement, he and Kathy relocated to Venice, Florida, where they embraced the beauty of coastal living. Brad loved hosting friends and family in their home, discovering new restaurants, visiting the jetty, and enjoying the weather and scenery that brought him peace.

He was a loving grandfather to Andrea , Jessica, Christopher, Chase, Kelsey, Julia, Jimmy, Zachary, and Shea, and a cherished great-grandfather to Laci and Cade. He was a dear brother to Gary (Maryann) Venturelli, Paulette (Edward) Weiss, and Mark (LeeAnn) Venturelli, and a caring uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Brad will be remembered as a fun-loving man, full of life and laughter. He was proud of the life he built and the family he raised. His warmth, sense of humor, and easygoing nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Services will be held Thursday, June 12, 11:00 a.m. at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd. 72, Sarasota FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brad's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Brad was a close neighbor in the Venetia Subdivision. I always enjoyed talking to him. Of course, there was always something new in the neighborhood to discuss. I will miss him. Denny Matheney

Gina, Kathy, Lori & Vicki... I have such fond memories of Brad from when we were kids. He was always the sweetest, kindest man when we would hang out at your house. He was constantly surrounded by girls and he took it in stride like a champ! I´m so sorry for your loss and wish all of you peace during this difficult time. With love, Jamie (Baker) Mapes
