Brandi Cook-Koehler Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Aug. 28 to Aug. 29, 2022.
Brandi Michaela Cook was born on April 10, 1987, in Georgia on an alligator farm. She was 35 years old and died in a tragic traffic accident on August 1st, 2022, in Montgomery county, Indiana.

She leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Melina Cook-Koehler age 10, and Regina Cook-Koehler age 9.

Brandi loved her friends and her family fiercely and was a force to be reckoned with if someone stepped on her toes, or that of someone she cared about.

She was a fantastic mother to her two beautiful children, and they were her number one priority in every waking moment of her life.

Brandi had numerous friends around the world, who all recognized the dedication and love she had for her two daughters, and it is our hope that they remember the example she had set for them and will continue to thrive in their life.

Some of the fondest memories her friends had of her was her raucous sense of humor, and the sharing of hilarious videos to perk up everyone's day. She had a sense of humor that was unparalleled and always extremely witty.

Brandi's proudest accomplishments are her daughters, whom she loved deeply and very much. She gave everything and anything she could to them, including the immense amount of love that we hope as her friends, they won't ever forget. She was a fantastic writer and had 20 years of unpublished writing online, she was also known for her legal acumen when she worked as a paralegal assistant for many years in South Carolina.

Brandi is buried next to her father in Georgia singing with Valkyries and probably hitting on Loki first.

If anyone of the numerous online communities that Brandi was a part of have any happy memories to share. We, as her friends, encourage you to do so.

Where to begin. I met you on the streets of Raveblack (game) and we became like family. I have no words for the depth of the pain your parting brings. You will be sorely missed.

Brandi was and always will be someone I recall fondly of. She had many a supportive and kind word for me that kept me laughing which she managed to do for almost anyone that needed it. A kind heart may she rest well.

I met Brandi in 2019, in a writing community that she was already part of and that I had stumbled upon. We instantly became friends, her humour unmatched. She was always so kind and lovely to me, and was someone I missed terribly when I left the mentioned community above, and for a while we lost contact.

Recently, however, we regained contact thanks to our mutual friend, and had started to share numerous conversations. She joined in on a writing project of my own and we had spoken of how much we had missed each other and potentially meeting once I was back in the states - as I am not far from her when I am stateside. I am heartbroken that we will never be able to carry out these plans the way we wanted.

I remember Brandi for her humour, for our playful flirting, for her laughter. I remember writing alongside her, and admiring her talent. I too remember her as a dedicated mother, who was always so happy to have her girls and really did do everything in life with them in mind. I remember Brandi as a great friend, and an advocate for anyone who was struggling.

I love you Brandi, I´m sending it from all the way across the pond. We´ll meet someday, some way.

I knew Brandi first through the online writing community we were both members of. I didn't know what to think of her in the beginning; her character was an intricate and deep soul unto herself, and that could only have been possible because of the beautiful mind behind her.

I developed a friendship out of character with Brandi and came to look forward to checking in with her whenever possible, sharing in jokes and supporting each other through thick and thin.

I will miss her like a lost limb, this amazing woman I viewed as a sister, and who will forever be known to me as "Scarf."

Hey baby doll. We had a blast in the streets of the Raven black back in the day. Fly high you will always be remembered for that sass.

We will meet again my friend till then keep the throne warm for me.
