Brandi was born in Beaumont, TX, in 1978 to Michael Ailes and Deborah Lawrence. She graduated from West Brook in 1997. She joined the Air force right after graduating high school.  Brandi later gave birth to her son Keylon O’Neal on February 5, 1998.

Brandi and Jettie met in 2014 and they married in 2015.

Brandi was proceeded in death by her father: Michael Ailes.

Brandi leaves behind her husband: Rev. Jettie Jefferson Jr. Children: Keylon O’Neal, Lauryn Jefferson, Krystella Godbolt. Mother: Deborah Lawrence, sisters: Tamera Vaughns, Tamika Evans, Natalia Rigsby, Brittany Lawrence, Alixis Walker, brothers: Derrick Hakim, Jared Lawrence, John Gamble Sr., Jordan Buentello and a host of nieces, nephews, and family and friends.

Brandi cared about her friends and family.  She did not just talk about how much she loved people she demonstrated her love for others by making an investment in people. Brandi developed an idea of helping others work through life challenging by building resources to work through the issue using key techniques that focus on the issue and not the person.  Keeping “Love” first in everything you do, Brandi in partnership with her Husband and Jettie, developed “I Chose Love”. Brandi also was instrumental in the “Connect” Group.  The many activities she developed helped hundreds of people connect better and see things from different points of view. Brandi made it her mission to help others “Love better”.  She touched many lives and will always be remember.

Brandi M. Jefferson, we will always love you and remember you!

I remember Brandi well as an Airman in the USAF. I was her supervisor when she was stationed in the computer room at Little Rock AFB, AR. What a pleasure to be around! Always smiling, always did her job to the best of her abilities. I remember when Keylon was born, Brandi chose to raise Keylon, many others chose differently. Keylon, you are one BLESSED man! What she went through for you....WOW. This I promise, Brandi will never be forgotten by me! I pray the peace of God that passes all understanding on you Jettie, and your family. Godspeed all!

I met her when we both worked for the IRS. She was always happy. Always smiling. She lit up the room when she entered it. She always had my back when I needed help. Heck, She helped everybody! I remember the time when I was going through a very nasty divorce, she was there for me. I remember the time when I was on the verge of losing my home due to my divorce, she was there for me, comforting me. As a result of my divorce, I lost my vehicle. Being the loving person that she is, she stepped in to help me. I didnt have to ask, she just took me to the dealership, co-signed a brand new car for me, and loaned me the down payment. She was truly an awesome person. She willing gave of herself to help others, not just spiritually but mentally and financially. Whatever she could do to help someone, she did it, not begrudgingly, but willingly, with that beautiful smile on her face. Her smile was just as beautiful as her heart. She sharpened me spiritually through our personal conversations, and through her facebooks posts. I have no words to express the pain I feel inside. There was nothing counterfeit about her. She was the Realest! I miss her.

Brandi touched my life when I arrived to her home for a fellowship meeting. I was so amazed. She was so welcoming, genuine and full of love. She remained that way from that point on. I loved her spirit and how she not only loved, but taught love in every thing she did or said. She was full of life and love. It's difficult to believe she is gone. I guess God needed you more in paradise. I hope to meet you there someday. Rest well angel of love.

Brandi, I am still at a loss for words. I will always remember you telling me "live life to the fullest". Who better to give that advice but you, because that's what you did. I'm deeply saddened because you were on my mind just a week before you passed. I was thinking of the birthday card you had given me almost a year ago today. I liked the wording and image of the card and your heartfelt message so much that it was still on display on my coffee table a year later. After I was told of your passing, I decided to find another permanent place for it. I have now placed it in my cubicle at work. This way, whenever I'm having a hard day I can reflect on the many days I shared at work with you laughing so hard until it hurt. Your positive attitude and humor was infectious. I'm gonna miss you "firecracker" from your friend "firestarter" as we affectionately referred to each other. Still SMH. Rest in Heaven Firecracker

The moment that you died my heart was torn in two, one side filled with heartache the other side died with you.

I lie awake at night, when the world is fast asleep , and take a walk down memory lane, with tears upon my cheeks.

Remembering you is easy, I DO IT EVERYDAY, but missing you is heartache that never goes away.

I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain. Until the joyous day arrives that we will me again! ❤
