Brandon Lloyd Coleman
Brandon Lloyd Coleman, Spring, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the age of 38. He was born in Galveston, Texas on August 24, 1984, to the late Carl Edward Coleman, Sr. and Taunya Garrett.
Bam Bam as most of us know him was a loving, supportive, hard worker, and proud father. He loved his children with all he had. He didn’t mind helping out his friends or loved ones that came to him for his help. He was in the process of turning his life around. He didn’t hesitate to find work, as he was working to get the things necessary to better himself.
Brandon loved his family, especially his kids. He missed them dearly and wanted to make things right with them. His time away from them changed him and motivated him to become a responsible person.
He loved his mom and dads very much and loved hanging out with his brother, Carl. They were partners in crime. He enjoyed spending as much time with family as he could. He especially loved running to McDonalds for a frappe with his mom.
He truly loved his supportive sister, Jennifer. He would text or call her all day and night. Yes, he was annoying at times but that’s Brandon, seeking the love from his sister. She helped him more than he expected but was ever grateful for the things she did for him. He always ended their conversations with “I love you.”
Brandon was not shy to meet new people, he had a sense of humor that everyone around him enjoyed. He kept it real with you and didn’t sugar coat anything he spoke about. He enjoyed watching movies especially scary ones, action, and comedies.
He enjoyed fishing, watching football, and relaxing in the pool. It was never a dull moment with him, you didn’t know what he would say or do next. He was the life of the party and open to having a good time.
He will truly be missed by his children, family, and friends. For 38 years he gave us 100% Brandon Lloyd Coleman, but the past year he gave us something more, he gave us memories. We miss you and love you, Brandon.
Brandon is survived by his mother, Taunya Garrett and Millard Garrett; his step-parents, Kreg Roberts and Cathy Roberts; his children, Jadyn Coleman, Kira Coleman, and Lilly Coleman; sisters, Jennifer Partridge (Tarus Burrell), Tonya Wolcott (Chris), Ambria Garrett, and Stacey Coleman; brothers, Christopher Coleman (Stephanie), Carl Coleman, Jr. (Nina Russell), and Joel Partridge; grandparents, Don Roberts and Cindy Hukill (Red); nieces and nephews, Skyler, John, Tori, Emmaly, Katlin, Colton, Carl III, Faith, Eva, Everlee, Shelby, Thomas, Robert, Journey, Sapphire, Ethan, Evan, Conner; great nieces and nephews, Zailyn, Azaria, Ashton, and Olivia; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Coleman, Sr.; son, Lincoln Coleman; grandparents, Bobbie Hoffman, Judy Lake, Hebron Coleman, Martha Coleman, Othella Roberts, and Evelyn Hoffman; and niece, Mary Ellen Partridge.

Gosh I don't even know what to say. Oh Brandon you will be missed so much. I don't think there is anyone who could simultaneously piss me off and make me laugh the way you could. Our friendship had many upland many downs we shared tears and we shared laughs sometimes both at the same time. I am so glad that we got to talk over the past few weeks. I am glad I got to tell you how proud I am of you for turning it all around.
