Brandon Schaffer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 23, 2015.
HAUGHTON, LA – Celebration of Life services for Brandon Allen Schaffer, 17, will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015, at Eastwood Baptist Church, 2810 Highway 80, Haughton, LA, with Bro. Mike Schultz, Bro. Scott Teutsch and Bro. Brad Watson officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 5pm-7pm, at Eastwood Baptist Church.

Brandon was born at Barksdale Air Force Base on June 22, 1997, to Terry and Amanda Schaffer. He went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 21, 2015, he was strong, caring inspiring and joyful even in the face of adversity.

Brandon was a Junior at Haughton High School and was a member of the Big Red Band. He had a love for history, the Green Bay Packers, hot sauce and music. He had a servant's heart and always worried about others before himself. More importantly he loved God. His favorite verse was Philippians 4:13.

Those left to cherish Brandon's beautiful memory are his parents, his siblings, Ashley, Meghan and Terry, his grandparents, aunts and uncles, many cousins and numerous friends.

Honoring Brandon as Pallbearers will be Bubba Brothers, Austin Staton, Jake Mize, Jacob Fields, Mathias Johnson and Donovan Farquhar.
The family is so thankful for the amazing people at Arkansas Children's Hospital who have loved and cared for Brandon and our family his entire life.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Camp Aldersgate in Little Rock, AR, Arkansas Children's Hospital or The Make A Wish Foundation.
