What to say about Brandon. Vickers was a great person who really put a smile on my face when I would see him still awake in the morning when I was going to work. He was a great roommate, an exceptional guitarist, and all around an awesome dude. I couldn't think of anyone else I would rather spend time with chillin out on the deck or giving him a ride as his roady for his solo gigs at cabana. And man that guy could make an excellent margarita. You are the man "B" and you will me missed. Holla holla

Brandon,
I will always remember your witty one liners....your goofy laugh and your voice belting out wonderful music at Wallstreet. I will remember playing tricks on you at our apartments and watching you through the window as you would come out confused about how your car got moved....you were so fun and such an awesome dude and will you be missed greatly! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all!

I saw a bunch of you at indigo joes and wondered if it was for Brandon who I knew in high school. We hung out a lot during our senior year and I just found out Wednesday night that he had passed away. I didn't think that the stars would align that much until I got home and looked up on line when/ where his service was held. I wish I would have said something to you all. Brandon is a very kind person and everyone who knew him is very lucky to have him in our memory. My thoughts and prayes are with his family and friends. A person is never gone, they live on in our thoughts and in all of our memeories. Until we meet again.

No words can explain just how much apart of me you were... and will always be. One day when we meet again, we'll finish what we started. People search their whole lives to find the kind of love we had and I feel blessed knowing I found mine. No one will ever replace you or take away the huge part of my heart you hold. I know you're with me, watching over me... just like you always have. I miss you every day from the moment I wake up till I fall asleep.. even in my dreams. Thank you for making my life so bright, fun, and full of laughter. You were reason for my smile... I love you so much... Rest in peace now my Love. You'll forever be in my heart. Afton

Oh how the memories have come rushing back; you tackling your big teddy bear on football Sundays with your football helmet on; hitting eachother with the middle seatbelt while fighting in the backseat of the car; scaring the crap out of me when I came around any corner; sticking those nasty dreadlocks of yours in my face; trying to dance like Michael Jackson as a little boy...highwater pants, white socks, black loafers and all...and actually doing it 20 years later at my wedding. I just want to remember anything and everything about you forever...

I miss you so much and will love you until the end of time. May you rest in peace my sweet brother until we meet again.

Love,
Angerwaah

I have many fond memories of Brandon. His patience and kindness made it easy to be friends with him. He was always smiling and ready for an adventure. His musical talent was amazing! I remember when we were at Ballard I had a photography assignment and I asked Brandon if he would be my subject. He said yes and was very patient with me as we walked around Locust Grove for hours having him pose here and there. I would have him turn just so and he never seemed bothered he just enjoyed himself just being... outside... in nature... patient... it was easy... just being...
I have many memories of hanging out with Brandon, Brian and Vince listening to a new song, going to the park and just hanging out. He will be remembered fondly.

Brandon you will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.
Much love...

The Vicker Tree

Swaying in the wind
Sounds of the trunk creaking
The leaves bristling
Green Earth, Life, fresh air, Harmony

His seed of life was planted in 1978
Growing from a bud to a tree
He pressed his limbs to the sky
He gave shade to all who passed by

Soft to the eyes
Pleasant to the touch
Warm embrace of an old friend
Pause, love pushed through

It is quiet…
31 years passed, instantly quiet
Life moved him, pressed him, pulled him on
Moving on, found another pasture

Blooming, stretching, waiting
Stronger than before
Peaceful sound, at ease
All will be ok here

No longer in this pasture does he grow
In another he will now sow
Time moved him quicker than me
Time will bring us back to thee

I have known Brandon since I can remember – having grown up with him in Hills & Dales and gone to Ballard together. After high school, I always looked forward to randomly running into Brandon during the holidays or getting together when we were both in town. I will never forget our good times in the neighborhood as kids … running around the woods … watching the movie Major League over and over … the tennis ball game on his dad’s garage that we would play all summer … In Living Color and Kudos on Sunday nights … Michael Jordan’s Come Fly With Me 1990 … filming videos of us dunking on mini basketball goals and using a ladder to dunk … so many warm memories. He was my friend … and he will be missed.
