GRACE, Brenda Alta (Nee Fearon) It is with the greatest sorrow that we announce the passing away of Brenda, at the age of 53. After a courageous battle with cancer, Brenda was taken from us far too soon. Peacefully passed away at the Queensway Carleton hospital in the early morning of Monday, July 7th, 2008 surrounded by the love of her family. Brenda was born in Harcourt, NB on March 13th, 1955. Sadly missed by her husband Harry, daughters Stacy (John Nadeau), Constance (Ross Martin), and Olivia, and her grandchildren Trevor, Kyle, and Cynthia. She is survived by her sisters Vivian (Ben) Weir of Turtle Creek, NB, Norma (George) McLeod of Riverview, NB, Betty (Melvin) Betts of Bass River, NB, Marlene (John) Crandall of Moncton, NB, and brothers Robert Fearon (Kathy) of Moncton, NB, Raymond Fearon of Burlington, ON, Ivan Fearon of Grangeville, NB, and sister in law Alta of Saint John, NB. Predeceased by her sister Linda, and brothers Roy, and Frank. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre and the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Friday, July 11th from 6-9 p.m., and Saturday from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Flowers and donations accepted. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Condolences, tributes or donations may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com For the love and kindness you gave so unselfishly, for the caring and sharing that were so much a part of you, thanks Mom. We love you and miss you greatly.

Dear Brenda

I thought I saw you the other day
No it wasn't you so I turned away
Sometimes I want to call you on the phone
But then realize that you are not a home

I know you are in heaven with Jesus
Our precious Lord that died for us
I know that you have earned your wings
And a crown of jewels and a voice that sings

Holding hands, laughing and crying for joy
With Mom, Dad, Frank, Linda and Roy
So until we meet again I say goodbye to
you afar
I look up to the sky to see your shining star.

Love you and miss you sister Marlene

To Brenda's family,
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. From what I knew of Brenda, it was clear that she loved her children and grandchildren so very much. She will be missed but certainly not forgotten.
Love,

I am a former CRTC employee. I had the pleasure of speaking with Grace on many occasions. She was one of the nicest people I knew. She always went out of her way to help people. She always talked about her family with so much love and pride. I will remember her always. I would like to extend my sincere condolences. My thoughts are with you.
