LYNDA, Brenda Penelope
Peacefully on Saturday December 29, 2013, at the age of 66. Beloved daughter of Linda Waithe. Predeceased by her father Lorrie Walcott. Dear niece of Joyce Clement and Eucine Graves. Devoted mother to Natalie (Edwin) and Shaun. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Nathyn, Chase, K'eon, Ethan and Izayah. Will be greatly missed by brothers Ivan and Mervin Walcott and cousins Jacine and Paula. Second mother to many. Loved by co-workers at the LCBO and many special friends. Family and Friends may pay respects at the Capital Memorial Gardens, Prince of Wales Drive, on Friday January 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. and on Saturday January 11 from 9 to 10 am. Funeral service will be celebrated by Pastor David Crawley, held at 11 am. on Saturday January 11, 2014 at Saint Peter and Paul Anglican Church, 152 Metcalfe St., Ottawa. Funeral arrangements intrusted to Lafleur Funeral Home & Chapel, Casselman, Ontario (613) 764-3286. I just learned of Brenda's passing and was shocked...she was a woman full of life and smiles and always so sweet to talk to..I knew here from trips to LCBO but had not been in months.
I am a Travel Agent and often spoke of her daughters Bus trips to New York and how proud she was of her and how much you loved Barbados..truly shocked and my heart goes out to all her family and friends..luv to you Brenda ..you will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh how I miss you mom... My heart aches knowing that I won't laugh with you again or hear you make a comment where I give a side eye and say did she really just say that. I will miss your stories its funny it seemed only you encountered the weirdest things or people.
Dec 6th 2013 was one of the most difficult things I had to encounter in life. I held your hand trying to be strong but the tears slipped from my eyes when they said our time was going to be limited. Mom you were one of a kind and I am truly missing you. I truly thought we would have one more trip to Barbados together. Until we meet again save me a spot next to you so you can fill me in on all the news.
