Brenda Miller Obituary
Brenda affectionately called "Bren" by family & friends loved the Lord with all her heart and often shared the Word of God. Her faith in the Lord always remained strong throughout life's challenges & adversities. Her love and passion were working with children. She inspired them by opening their minds & touching their hearts. She loved butterflies and would display beautiful pictures and artwork of them throughout her home. You would often see her wearing beautiful butterfly jewelry. While she was a lover of gospel music she recently became a fan of Bruno Mars and would dance in her chair whenever his music was played. She made everyone in her presence feel loved and special. Her radiant beauty & smile would light up any room.
She is survived by her husband James Miller; Her three children Angela Francis, Kim Trower (Nathaniel), and James L. Miller; three grandchildren, Anthony Francis, Renonda McMillan, & Jessika Johnson (Derek); two great-grandchildren, Jayden Johnson & Jayla Johnson; six siblings, Cynthia Jones (Curtis), Charlene Hobday, William Francis III, Barbara Calame, Pamela Bland (Bobby), and Rodney Francis (Deanna). She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends that she cherished with all her heart.
Brenda leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength that will continue to inspire all who knew her. While we mourn her loss deeply, we find solace in knowing that her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
The family will hold a private celebration in honor of her life.

My heart is sadden to know you have gain your wings. Your smile and hugs that brightens up a room. So I know heaven is alot brighter. Thanks for the love and wisdom you have shared over the years. You will be missed. Sleep in peace

My beautiful Nannie you will forever be missed. You were a beautiful person inside and out with a heart of gold. I will cherish all the special times we shared. Thank you for being the best grandmother to Renonda and I as well as my kids Jayden and Jayla. Your love will forever be unmatched. It's no one on this earth like you. Truly one of a kind. The first time I met Brenda, she had the most beautiful smile on her face. I could not help but smile back. She had a calm and friendly way about her. In the later years when sickness took over, she still maintained that smile and calmness. Always upbeat and positive. Brenda, the Sycamore Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Greenville, NC will miss you so much. You will always be a part of us. Jamie and family, we are praying for you. The Lord will give you strength and peace at this most difficult time.
