Simard-Reid, Brenda- Of Malden, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Jack Byrne Care Ceneter in Lebanon, NH. She was 53. 


Born and raised in Somerville. She was the daughter of Roland and Josephine (Moore) Simard. 


She was the beloved mother of Robert Lee Harris IV, Isiah Michael Reid, Devine Christian Reid, Myisha L'anna Reid, Shawn Simard, Tiffany Simard, Brendalee Marie Simard, Deniece Simard and Jessica Fox (Kyana Reid). She is also loving survived by her three sisters, two brothers and many nieces and nephews. 


Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville, on Sunday April 23rd from 12:00PM to 3:00PM. 


A prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 2:30PM. 


Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. 


Interment will be private

HAPPY PERSON FULL OF JOY AND LOVE IN THE YEARS THA I HAD KNOWN HER. My PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY TODAY AND ALWAYS,MAY THE GRACE OF GOD BE WITH YOU NOW TODAY , TOMORROW AND ALWAYS TO KEEP YOU IN PRAYER AND TO STAY STRONG.
