Brent Jackson Walker

Funeral services for Brent Jackson Walker, 38, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at First United Methodist Church of Lufkin with the Reverend Nick Sholars and the Reverend Simon Purvis, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetary in Lufkin. Brent was born on April 21, 1973, in Lufkin, Texas to Brenda Kay and H.C. Walker. He passed away February 1, 2012. Brent graduated from Lufkin High School in 1991. He was passionate about anything to do with dirt bikes, and motor sports. He loved NFL Football and the Dallas Cowboys were his favorite team. Even at the age of 38, Brent loved video games and classic rock-n-roll. Brent worked at Walker Motor Company for more than ten years with his older brother, Bruce Walker. Brent was an avid reader. He loved everything from Stephen King to the classics. Brent is survived by his parents, Brenda and H.C. Walker of Lufkin; his older brother, Bruce Walker and his wife, Connie, of Nacogdoches; his sister, Beth Walker Carr and her husband, Jason Carr, of Lufkin; nieces and nephews, Lauren Walker, Taylor Walker, Kristen Carr and Kade Carr; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Bruce Jackson of Lufkin and the late Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Walker Sr.; aunts and uncles are Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Jackson of Lufkin, Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Jackson of Groesbeck, Mr. and Mrs. Darcey Faircloth of Lufkin, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Henson, also of Lufkin, and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Miller of Tyler; and numerous cousins. Pallbearers will be Trey Burton, Todd Clarke, Ryan Deaton, William George, Mariano Ibanez, Brandon Pope, Craig Purvis and Todd Walker. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
