Brian Ferrer Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 24, 2021.
Brian James Joseph is our son (Ernest and Kathleen Ferrer), and is the youngest of his three brothers Mark, Kevin, and Jonathan. He was Uncle Bri to Gavin and Ava, and the best Dad ever to his dearest Charlie. Brian was born in San Diego on October 24, 1980, and grew up a free spirit in Kearny Mesa. As an adult he moved to the Bay Area, and became a beloved waiter and part owner in Vero’s Restaurant in Palo Alto.

Our family and friends had a memorial for Brian on October 3, and will always continue to celebrate his life and memory. Brian was daring, adventurous, and a caring person who touched many people with acceptance and love. He loved the outdoors, the beach especially where he spent many hours with his son Charlie. Handsome and talented in many things: his personal skills in making connections with people excelled, and reaching out to give a helping hand made him endearing to anyone who met him. Brian also loved archery, mountain biking, hiking, cooking, and golfing to name just a few. He excelled at all of these with a natural ability.

Our beloved Brian passed away at the age of 40 on September 3, 2021 from a heart attack. We miss him immensely, and will carry him forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace Brian.

He was my roommate for 3 months in 2008 in Indio, CA. Not sure why I looked him up tonight. He made that 3 months better than it should have been and I can say he was my friend.
