I've known Brian since we attended 2nd & 3rd Grades at El Camino Elementary School in Ventura in the 1970's. I remember we attended the premier of the original Star Wars film together in 1977.
We lost touch when My parents moved me away to Orange County. Tried many times to locate him over the years, to no avail. I recently tried again and was able to finally make contact with Kerry, his sister, whereupon I discovered the sad news of his passing.
He was a great guy with an amazing sense of humor, who was always quick to try to make you laugh. He had a lighthearted and engaging personality and was always warm and friendly to everyone he met. He will be sorely missed.
Rest easy friend.

We miss him every time we go to the post office. Just not the same without his kind humorous presence. When he was at bayside it was so wonderful to be able to barter soap for coffee or lip balm. Reminded me of post office in Hawaii called Kamuela. Named after a much loved postman for his sense of community. That was our Brian.

Brian was always a good friend with a big heart , keen insight, and truly great sense of humor. I'll always hold close great memories of kayaking, playing b-ball, & watching Lakers games with "Big Bri". I'll never forget you buddy!

I met Brian in college, when we were both in the dorms. We remained close for more than 20 years, but we hadn't been in touch these last few years. I was just thinking about him, and found this sad news. My heart is with him.

Loved Brian. We shared stories and philosophies with him for years. I just learned of his passing, and now know why we had not seen nor heard from him. Concerned about Bonny, his pal. She used to visit with us when he travelled and also just for dog dates with our Pearl. Farewell, kind sir.

Just heard this terrible news. Hoping Bonnie has a good home. We met Brian when he first started at Bayside P.O. He was so much fun. So intelligent with a rye sense of humor. We use usps for our business, so we saw him 3-4 times a week. He loved our bamboo charcoal soap. Deeply saddened.
