It is with deep shock that we learned the news of Brian's sudden passing! Had just had a long conversation with him late January about our Windsor Park Collegiate '71 Class
Reunion. Had a lovely catch up about his life, but he had to dash, he had a movie night date with Bev and Barb. Heartfelt condolences to the Renaud Family & Friends! Too soon, and too young! Brian will be so missed.

Brian was a kind gentleman who acted like a big brother to me when he took me in and offered his couch and a room to me when I first came out west to Calgary in 1978. He enjoyed showing me around and cycling all the bike trails which we often did. My condolences to Bev, Bob, Chris, Kym, Barb and the big extended family that made Sunday dinners and parties so much fun in the eighties. I know Brian will be missed by everyone.

Brian was a brother-from-another-Mother...we met at KFC as training manager @ Barneys Main office in the late 70's!. After witnessing him drinking a pot of coffee the first day training we started bonding. His love of nostalgia, Canadian content in music and art. We were products of the 60's and believed we would go on forever...His blues harmonica and love of Guiness maintained a strong bond between us in many social settings. I will miss him as friend, associate and family man...we shared many secrets of life and loved our children!

Moe and I were very close and my heart goes out her and Carlin..we were inseparable in the 80's playing bridge and enjoying the game of life! He loved to win and was not a gracious loser but that did not deter him from laughing at his addiction to being in control even for just few moments until another challenge came across his plate!
Always there to solve the problems of the world and have his own spin on it made him a very unique individual. I will miss him beyond our time here and look forward to the energy we shared in all our glory as young Turks in the Hospitality industry with all its challenges and mysteries.Love you Brian

Brian Renaud is Uncle Brian to me. He was a huge part of my childhood. I have many memories of Aunty Mo, Uncle Brian and Cailey at the cabin on Rainy Lake. I am so happy I got to see him recently in Florida and wish we could have spent anther summer at the lake. My heart goes out to Carlin and all his family and friends. There will never be another Brian Renaud. He was one of a kind. Hugs to all. Emily Rowlands

I am in Cambodia as word reaches me of my brother's passing. My elder brother was, indeed, a quirky, interesting and straight-forward man: you never had to guess what he was thinking or feeling and if he wanted your opinion he would give it to you. Brian had a deep love of the land and a nostalgia for Canadian rural life as it was in the 50s and 60s: something we all share from our golden time growing up in Fort Frances. I admire these qualities and will miss his presence in this life. May all who loved him find comfort, peace and strength in the kind embrace of family and friends. With enduring love and fondness for the many memories: brother Kimm, nephews: Michael and son Ilias, Rob (Tamara), Brent (Amanda).

Brian will be missed by so many friends in Calgary but also by so many people in Puerto Vallarta. He entertained many of us by playing his harmonica during jam sessions at various locations. He was always fun to dance with....and many of us loved playing games with him each day at Langostinos. It is just not the same without him! Too soon...too sad!
