ROEBUCK Brian WilliamMR B. W. ROEBUCK
(of Worksop)
The funeral has taken place of Mr Brian William Roebuck of Spring Walk, who passed away very suddenly on August 14th 2012.
He was the loving husband of Ann and devoted dad of Brian, Andrew and Andrea, dad-in-law of Hayley, Suzanne and Tim and very special granddad of Charlene, Oliver and Henry and great-granddad of Olivia.
Brian lived in Worksop all his life and apart from doing his National Service for two years, worked as a plasterer and tiler first for Sidney Brown Plasterers Ltd and then from the early seventies was self-employed in partnership with his brother-in-law known as Morris and Roebuck doing specialist work including work for the National Trust, English Heritage and high-class properties.
Brian's main hobby was fishing but he also enjoyed bowling, snooker, gardening, classical music and singing and he loved being with his family especially his grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at St Anne's Church and was conducted by Rev Paddy Macbain and Rev Frank Beech, followed by burial at Hannah Park Cemetery.
