I am so sorry I could not be there for Brian's service. Sending hugs and prays to Melissa, Braydon and Elliana. Such a beautiful family. And an amazing love story filled with hope, courage and inspiration. My heartfelt condolences. Cindi

Brian was truly one of the most amazing bosses to work for! He allowed me so much creative license and support with STEM camps, always looked for solutions, and was THE go to guy for that needed charging chord, remote, unusual battery, or dongle. The world will miss him!

Brian was such a joy to work for in the short time we were on the same division team. He was so smart and efficient at what he did while being a passionate advocate for students and schools and a caring colleague. Although we only worked together virtually at that time, his personality shone through the computer. He was funny and patient and a great mentor. He will truly be missed and I will continue to strive to be the kind of leader he exemplified.

Friendship bracelets will always remind me of Brian and the small group we shared. I had made Brian and our small group family bracelets to support and encourage him during a hard time. They also were to remind him that we are all there for him, to make him smile and to know we are always with him. Friendship bracelets have taken on a whole new meaning since that day. Our small group was amazing and I cherish every moment with them. Always genuine and always kind, that was Brian. Forever in my heart. Sending all my love to Melissa and family. I am honored to have known Brian and even more honored to call him a friend.

When Hamilton first came to Tampa, Brian and I arrived at the office at 6am to start several devises to get into the virtual que. Whoever got through was going to purchase tickets for the maximum allowed. We had six devices and succeeded! Brian was always sharing a new favorite song or soundtrack he found! While I admired many things about him, this is something I continue associating with our non work related time together.

I first met Brian as a new Federal and Programs Administrator, but I heard about his work and programs for students before actually meeting him. I was fortunate to work with him over the past 11 years and it is with great sadness I say goodbye. Brian loved his work and his family more. We appreciate all he has done for our neediest students. Brian's contributions will be missed, but not forgotten. My greatest condolences to his family.

Never before have I met someone who embodied strength, fortitude, positivity and devotion in the way Brian has. His love for life and adventure was surpassed only by his boundless love for Melissa, Braydon and Elliana. My life was so much better and richer for having known him, and even more so for witnessing proof of the existence of true love.
