Brianna Botts Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 6, 2009.
BOTTS, BRIANNA
April 12, 2007 - Sept. 3, 2009.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet angel baby Brianna Lee Botts. Brianna passed due to complications related to her diagnosis of Trisomy 18
(Edward's Syndrome) at birth. She was a true living miracle and every single day she was with us was a gift from God. At birth we were told to expect her death within 24 hours yet she developed in amazing ways, beyond every doctor's expectations, even up to the day she passed at 28 months. Her short life on this earth has given so many hope, mercy, and grace. Brianna will always be remembered as the sweet baby girl with the most gorgeous smile, never complaining, never crying, just loving life. She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Brenda Botts; big sister, Ashley Steed; Grandparents, Doug and Helen Botts; and Grandmother, Myra Langston. A Memorial Service will be held in honor of her life at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando (106 E. Church St. Orlando) on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 at 3 p.m. If you so desire, we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to "Brianna Gives Hope", a non-profit organization set up to help families in need of respite care. Brianna gave so much love and we want to continue the giving in her honor. Donations can be sent to: Heart of the City Foundation/Brianna Gives Hope, 106 E. Church St., Orlando, FL 32801. Dear Jerry, Brenda and Ashley You don't know me but while reading paper I saw Brianna's picture. Oh Gosh her life and story deeply touched a place inside. I cut out her picture. What a blessing she is and imagine how she's giggling with Jesus and lots of animals and looking down on you to say "God is SO Good. And I love you." She is very beautiful and so are you. How precious a family you are to have been gifted this child to fulfill her purpose. Ashley - you tattoo is Holy (just one though dear - smile Jesus love you pretty girl). Love in Christ, Ms. Averill D. Galloway Longwood FL

The Botts Family:
I have never met you but my heart goes out to you now while you grieve the loss of your beautiful daughter. Trisomy 18 is such a tragic diagnosis; my son was stillborn in 2003 with T18 also. The road ahead will be tough but I'm glad you have photos and memories to keep you going. Stay strong - and lean on each other.
My deepest condolences to all of you.

Although we dont know each other, my family and I offer to you our deepest sympathy and empathy in the loss of your beautiful daughter. On July 3, we had the same tragedy. Same age. Nothing can be said to console you fully. Just understand that you are not alone in your sorrow. Be glad to know that your special angel will have a friend in heaven to play with. Our son.

Dear Brenda and Jerry, We don't really know each other that well but I have been so encouraged by your faithfulness and trust in God during your journey with Brianna. David Swanson and others have mentioned how much Brianna gave hope and will continue to give hope through her life and witness. Our prayers are with you as you celebrate Brianna on Saturday and as we work together to honor her life at Heart of the City Foundation through Brianna Gives Hope. With all of our love, Ralph Veerman

God knew who to give Brianna to, the best family in the entire world. Your strength as a person Brenda, has amazed me and has made me strive every day to be a better person. Your strength as a couple, even more so. Take comfort in knowing that Brianna's warm, sweet smile and the most gorgeous blue eyes...are now right next to the Lord. She is happy and running and playing....and watching over her Mommy, Daddy and big Sis.... God Bless you...
