BRIDGET McLOONE Obituary
An evening Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 P.M. on Sunday, September 14th at THE FUNERAL HOME OF JOHN STRETCH, 236 East Eagle Rd., Havertown PA 19083. A morning Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 A.M. on Monday, September 15th at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Chel-tenham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Villa St. Martha, 490 Manor Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335 or Drexel Neumann Academy, 1901 Potter St., Chester, PA 19013. Dear McLoone Family. I was saddened to hear of your dear mother's passing. She was a dear lady and a good soul, I met her in 1973 when I moved to Incarnation Parish in Olney..I was a single divorced Mom with 4 young children, We stood at the same bus stop every morning and we came to be close
companions. When she learned that I didn't go to Mass, she would encourage me with her warm Irish way. "The Lord is missing you, she would say. Especially those beautiful blue eyes He made especially for you" Well, after a few months, between your Mom and my German Grandmother, I met with the Pastor, Father Nelson (and that is another story for another time) I will treasure my memories of the McLoone Family: your Dad sitting on his porch on a warm summer evening and my conversations with your dear Mom on the bus. Be comforted by your memories and your faith. She stands with the saints; I only hope a tree isn't blocking her view from Heaven. Many blessings! Patsy McBride Friel

My condolences to the entire McLoone family. I never met your Mother, but she sounds like a terrific lady and a great Mom who was dedicated to her faith and her family. I will remember her and all of you in my prayers. (I was a classmate of Joe's at Cardinal Dougherty and my brother was a classmate of Pat's at LaSalle).

I met Bridget while doing volunteer work at the Villa. She easily became one of my very favorite ladies. She was so much fun. Very witty....she always made me laugh! I am so thankful I had an opportunity to become her friend. I will miss her very much.
