Bruce Diggle worked in the Engineering Office at the Wellington Harbour Board. At the time I knew of him my dad, Karl Renner, was the Chief Engineer at the WHB. My first year of Enginering School in 1975 required a series of Technical Drawing tasks. My dad had me set up in the drawing office at the WHB and Mr Diggle helped me along and tutored me on how to correctly draw various sections. A long time ago but still remembered to this day. He was kind and had a good sense of humor. I believe a few years ago before my dad's passing in 2020, they got together one last time for a drive around the waterfront. Condolences to the Diggle family from a kiwi engineer living in California.

Only just learnt of Bruce's passing. To his family I send my sincere condolences and best wishes. Bruce was a highly respected employee of the Wellington Harbour Board and who also served overseas in the Armed Forces. It was a pleasure to work with him and to have known him. RIP Bruce.
