1/28/2007, my grandfather passed away...
1/28/2010, I made my journey home to start the rest of my life with my sons...my parents reflected on how the date lined up and while I was going through hardship it helped liberate me from the path behind me and set my eyes forward into the future. That perhaps this was a blessing to propel me forward through unique timing and symbolism.
1/28/2020, I started what I hope to be the job to pave way to my bright future....

Today, 1/28/2020 I wanted to restore this guestbook permanently so the people who loved my grandfather can forever remember him.

The above mentioned are three unique dates I cannot help but feel all point to the destiny I carve with my own two hands. We're given unique opportunities and uncanny coincidences. It's not the symbols and signs, it's what we DO with that in our lives to make everything we dream to be possible a reality!

My grandfather always loved numbers, the English language, and took care of his family all the way down to his grandchildren when he passed.

If you're out there watching over us, from the spiritual realm, you know what's in my heart for what I so desperately want for my children, my family, and my future with prosperity and happiness... I thank you for looking over us, whether we know what happens after we pass on from this world or not, in spirit, I still thank you. I only hope to make my ancestors proud by living a good, moral life and bringing as much happiness to my children and my family as I can. I will take all the gifts that come my way, no matter how obvious or subtle, and always reach towards better with my hands to make it so.

In loving memory, I named my second born after you in a way, with nod to your middle name (Julius). That pregnancy of mine was particularly challenging as I didn't know if my son would make it; but he did! He was born with a brilliant full head of red hair at 10 lbs! My strong child needed a strong name and what better than my grandfather's - Julius. My oldest has the middle name of my father, Mark, who I hope to pass on the kindness and gentleness of my father and his father before him. My sons, Gabriel and Michael, I hope will pass on the generational kindness to their future children should they be so blessed, and so forth... to carry on the blessings you gave to your family, and so forth. I believe that is the true meaning of life: to carry on our acts and thoughts of kindness and love in gentleness throughout the generations; we individually cannot live forever but our passed on deeds will live on infinitely through one another.

I love you, Grampa W. I don't miss you because I know you are still "here" in our minds and hearts. Thank you. I promise to carry on your legacy and all the values and kindness you passed down and instilled into your children, who then passed down to theirs, and me to mine... distilling kindness throughout the generations. Be always in peace.

I served on the Board of Directors at Cardinal Stritch University with Bruce and he was such a wonderful person with whom to share conversation. He also made great contributions to the action of the Board. My sympathy to his family and especially to his wife. We met at a social event at Stritch.
