Sending sympathy to Bruce's family. He was admired by his first cousin Leo. We grew up watching Bruce's inimitable cricketing style. A few years ago I had the chance to listen to him speak. Such a hilariously funny night and I'm so pleased I did. RIP Bruce.

Dear Bruce, From street cricket on Stuart Street in Greenmount with Vivian, to Midland Guildford Junior Cricket in the district with me, to the development of the Lilac Hill Cricket Complex. His presence has always been our pleasure. He was our idea of the typical lovable Aussie Larrican full of mischief and harmless fun. We will always remember his smiling greetings and his "Roo" like build. Fond memories Bruce, safe journey. Kevin and Vivian Gale

YARDLEY Bruce (Roo):
To Roo's family, our thoughts are with you at this time. I can feel a tear form as I write this, which he would not approve. We were not life long friends, but Wylie friends for life.
We will remember the enthusiasm he breathed into the Aglime Cricket Cup, Days of Rolling, Turf Tuition, and A Master Plan for All. Roo was always happy to lend a hand to his neighbour across the road, or have a good chat. "ROO, A GOOD BLOKE." GYPSUM and Emma
