Bryan Mead Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 15, 2025.
Bryan Mead, 80, went to be with his heavenly Father on August 3, 2025, after a courageous battle with Bile-Duct cancer. He is survived by Sandy, his loving wife of 55 years, his daughter Jennifer Sandberg (Robbie) and their angel daughter Kenna in heaven (now joined by Grandpa Bryan), son Matthew, grandchildren Jackson and Hayden, brother in-law and close friends Steve and his wife Sue Stormoen, sister Pam Krueger (Gary) and many nieces, nephews and loved ones.

He was born in Fairmont, MN on July 16, 1945 to Russell and Theda Mead. The family moved to Richfield, Minnesota where Bryan grew up. After High School, Bryan attended Dunwoody Institute, receiving a Degree in Printing. This led to a position in the printing department at Wells Fargo (NorWest). To further his education, Bryan attended the University of Minnesota and received a BA in Business Administration. Bryan's banking career went from printing to personal banking, to mortgage, to retiring as a Vice President of fixed-income trading. In 1968 Bryan joined the U.S. Army Reserve and served his country for six years.

Bryan met his wife Sandy at Snyder Drug Store where they were both employed part-time while they attended college. They were married at Richfield Lutheran Church in 1970. They welcomed the birth of their daughter Jennifer and son Matt . They settled and raised their family in Eden Prairie, MN.

Because of his love and passion of golf, the Celebration of Life ceremony will be Sunday, September 21, 2025 at the Wilds Golf Club in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The service will begin at 2:00pm with tributes from loved ones ending at 6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bile-Duct Cancer Research.

I didn´t get to see him often enough, but enjoyed the times we got together. I especially remember family reunions and seeing and visiting with him there. Rest in peace, cousin.

Hi Dad. I miss you more than anyone could possibly imagine. I´m at peace though, because I know that God has healed you, and you are no longer suffering. Thank you for being the most loving and amazing dad a daughter could ever ask for. I love you
