C. Bruce Wilson

BRUCE WILSON The family of C. Bruce Wilson sadly announces his passing on Friday, December 5, 2008. We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace. His greatest enjoyments in life were his family, golfing, curling, time spent at his cabin at Emma Lake, belonging to the church choir at 3rd Avenue United Church, and of course his coffee row buddies. Bruce is survived by his companion and best friend, Fran; as well as his daughter, Laurel Rascher of Meadow Lake, SK; his son, Gregory (Bernita) of North Battleford, SK; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Merilyn (Peter) Wawro of Winnipeg, MB, Donna (Ken) Halverson of Penticton, BC; sister in law, Norma Wilson of Saskatoon, SK; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are Fran's children, Brian, Grant, and Kelly and their families. Bruce was predeceased by his father, William; mother, Olive; brother, Lionel; and son in law, Alan. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to Bobby, Brenda and Norma for their love and support. Bruce will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. The Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at 3rd Avenue United Church (corner of 3rd Avenue North and 24th Street) with Rev. Donna Wilson officiating. Interment of Bruce's ashes will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Lung Association or a charity of your choice.
