To Nancy & Family
I was shocked to hear of Caesar's passing. I worked at The Bank of Nova Scotia next to the Cafe in the l980's and we had many good times at the Bank parties which Caesar attended. I always stopped in to see him at the Cafe when I had a doctor's appointment in the building.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I will always remember Caesar as a fun guy.

My heart goes out to you Nancy, Lyndsay and Ryan, and I will continue to pray for a suitable rebirth for Caesar.

Mrs. Karam,
I didn't realize that your husband was the owner of the Capsule Cafe. I have been in there many times over the years as my family doctor is in the same building, and I would take my kids in there for a treat after seeing their doctor. Your husband was always so kind and funny with them. Although I didn't know him well, I was sorry to hear of his passing, as I know how bravely he fought his cancer.
With my deepest sympathy,

Nancy & Family; it's with sadness that I offer my condolences on the loss of Caesar and a life well-lived. On my first day at the bank at 1081, I was advised to get over to meet Caesar as soon as possible. Caesar was expecting me, and went on to help me immeasurably with ALL of the comings and goings in the neighbourhood thereafter. There was never any doubt about where one would ask "what's up?".

Dear Nancy, Lyndsay and Ryan:
Nancy, we have known you and Caesar, for more that thirty years. You and Bill, go back to Bell. You and Caesar, from 1081.
I can't begin to express the shock, grief and disbelief we experienced at hearing the news about Caesar.
Memories...so many memories, came flowing back, of years of enjoyment, just being in the company of that beloved clown.
The first that came to mind, was the retirement party for Nellie Arcand,(mom), at "Caesar's palace", in 1985. Caesar, was waiting at the door, with a fresh comment, for each person, who came through it. Doctor or nurse alike, no one was spared. But most, were ready for him. His energy and quips, kept the party lively and fun
Another fond memory, was the time a group of us, went dancing at the Nepean Sportsplex. Caesar, and another late/great comic, Donnie, brought down the house, when they join forces to waltz across the dance floor. They were so good together. Just hours of constant bantering and laughter. Neither, could ever top the other. Life, was easier then. Laughter, was everything.
Nancy, Bill and I wish you and your family, better days as you move forward. The wonderful memories Caesar has left you, are precious treasures to be able to reach for and hold on to.
God bless you all.

Dear Nancy and Family,
What a tremendous man Caesar was. 1081 Carling is never going to be the same place without him. But he has left his mark on the souls of everyone who knew him! Caesar never forgot a face, and always knew what made people smile.
I am so glad I had an opportunity to know him.

Dear Nancy, Lyndsay and Ryan,
I am so sorry to learn of Caesar's passing, and your loss of such a warm, loving family member. I worked at 1081 Carling for 5 years, and Cesar made that time so much brighter. During my earliest days there, I wasn't quite sure how to take him - was he joking or cranky? It didn't take me long to figure out that he found humor in almost every situation. The more I got to know him, the more endearing that became. After moving to the US, when I returned to Ottawa for a visit, Ceasar was on my list of people I wanted to visit. I stopped by the Capsule, had some coffee and visited with Ceasar for almost two hours. It was so nice to see him again and renew the friendship. He always encouraged and supported me, welcomed me, and celebrated my accomplishments. I will always remember him, hold my memories of him dear, and be glad to have known him.
You are all in my thoughts.
With deepest sympathy and lots of love,
Simone Lemieux

Dear Nancy and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Caesar's passing. I had many fun years working at 1081 and part of the fun was to tease Caesar with either Nancy or Mary. You had to love that mischievous smile. Caesar always had a big hi there stranger for me, when I would stop in to say hi.
You'll be missed Caesar, but when I think of you I will smile.

Dearest Nancy, Lindsay and Ryan; our hearts are broken with the news of our dearest Caesar's passing. Having known Caesar for 40 years, will always remember his great sense of humour, always trying to feed us at the Snackbar, and talks of spiffy cars! A truly wonderful person, words cannot really express our sadness; however, in true Caesar style, he would be saying, okay now, let's move ahead. He is up there in the BIG KITCHEN serving up goodies to all.... Love you lots, Sheila, Charles and Sarah Kealey

My sincere sympathies Nancy, to you and your family. Although it had been a long time since seeing you guys at 1081, I'd often think of you passing by the medical building. Caesar gave that place personality and lots of laughs. His joy for life always spilled over to McNeil's to lighten life in my cosmetics department. God bless.

Nancy and family,
I worked at 1081 Carling for a few years in the 80's before I got married and moved away. Caesar was a great guy. He always had a smile and something to say. I've meant to stop in many times over the years but just never found the time. My kids, though, know all about Caesar and how much he contributed to making my life at the office more fun.
May God bless you,
