Cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother
Calliope Boutsikaris, 91, of Brick, N.J., passed away on Aug. 12, 2019, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, N.J., surrounded by her loving family.
Calliope was born in Greece, moved to the United States and lived in Newark, N.J., and Union, N.J., before moving to Brick. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry A. Boutsikaris; beloved mother of Maria Montalto and Krystallo Wacaster; Yaya of Michael and his wife, Jessica, Alexandria and her husband, Denis, Vanessa, Deanna and Erica and great-grandmother of Luca and Mila. She was predeceased by her brother, Llias, and her sister, Vasileky.
Visitation is Thursday, Aug. 15, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, N.J. 07083. A Funeral Mass will be at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 721 Rahway Ave,. Union, N.J. 07083, on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1100 E Broad St., Westfield, N.J. 07090.

Maria & Crystal,my cincere condolences on the passing of your mother. I knew her all my life and she was a great lady. Sorry I couldn't be there but I just found out minutes ago. May she rest in eternal peace.
