Calvin Buck Obituary
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Betty N. Buck; grandmothers, Annie Ricks Jordan and Viola Buck and grandfathers, Nathaniel Jordan and Anderson Buck.
In addition to his father he is survived by his wife, Marion S. Buck; his children, Taneesha Buck, Calvin Buck Jr. (Erika), Maurice Buck (Latoyia) and Devin Buck; four grandchildren, Cameron Buck, Kenron Joyner, Mar'Tavis Buck and Xzavion Buck; his brother, Charlie Buck II; six aunts, two uncles and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held 3pm, Friday, June 26, 2015 at Tree of Life Ministries with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will be in the Fort Hill Memorial Park. His remains will be open to the public one hour prior to the service at the church. The family is receiving friends from 6-8pm, Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the funeral home and other times at the family home. The cortege will assemble at the family home. I will never forget you, the funny things that you use too say, that always made me laugh, you always put nothing but pride, and a lot of love into your teaching, of the student at school, I walks down the hallway where your room was at, I still can hear you voice, teaching the students, and on your break I still can hear your laughing, around the corner, and I would just smile, because you was a very likable person, MR. Buck my friend I miss you, and was very sad when you pass away, well my friend you rest in peace, your work down here has been completed on earth, and you have earned your angle wings, for you too fly until you reach those golden gates, that is call heaven, I won't say goodbye but I will say goodnight.
