I am not able to attend Cal's memorial service at Three Trees Chapel. At 11:00 a.m. I will stop, be silent and be still, remembering Cal. I will pray to the Lord. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until me meet again. May the most high God hold you in the palm of His hand. Amen!

Miss you Dad. We made it, you passed away in your sleep at home just the way we wanted. You were stubborn tough and brave until the end. I know it got real hard. You worked hard and never quit, you taught me the same thing. Thanks for teaching me how to fight a bully and not to take guff off anybody. Thanks for playing baseball, catch, frisbee and taking me to the batting cage. Thanks for building me cool models and giving me that love for the hobby. Thanks for always being there in every respect. Thanks for letting me drive the boat when we fished. Thanks for teaching me to change the oil, mow the lawn and lay insulation. Thanks for letting me learn some things the hard way. Thanks for your counsel and your own understanding of dangerous times and places when there were real hard times at work. I wanted to be like you in so many ways. Love you Dad. Never forgotten. - Mike.

"We love because he first loved us" John 11:36 NIV. Our heavenly Father set the example for my Dad, he set the example for us. I love you Dad!
