I DREAMED OF HEAVEN

I dreamed of heaven the other night
And pearly gates swung wide,
An angel with halo bright
Ushered me inside.

And there to my astonishment
stood folks I judged and labeled
As quite unfit, of little worth
and spiritually disabled.

Indignant words rose to my lips
but never were set free.
For every face showed stunned surprise
not one expected me.

To Lois, Elic, Jermaine and Neal.

GOD KNOWS BEST (author unknown)

He knows best when days are sunny and the clouds have rolled away. When laughter rules in all our dwelling and we are happy, glad and gay.
GOD KNOW BEST
He knows best when days are stormy and the clouds are thick and gray, when hearts are bowed with grief and sorrows because a loved one went away.
GOD KNOW BEST
He knows best. O tell it often, when in peace, or battle's fray, whether joy or sadness touch thee, tell it ever night and day.
GOD KNOWS BEST
Love all of you much---Your sister Linda, Joni, Joi, San Antonio Tx

Thank u calvin for the rides on the scooter, then the motor cycle, for inventing the penney plaque with my name on it. Most of all thanks for your singing and good spirits the night of Uncle Cookie's funeral. That helped the family get thru a rough evening. "Your energetic and talkative spirit will surely be missed.........." Serve the Lord with gladness, Come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord, he is God..It is he, that hath made us,and not we ourselves.Enter into his gates with Thanksgiving and into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him and bless his name, for the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth forever.(Psalms 100)
