ANDERSON — Candace B. Teague, 53, of Anderson, passed away Jan. 30, 2010, at her residence, as a result of a sudden illness.
She was born Dec. 4, 1956, in Anderson, the daughter of Paul and Marjorie (Hochstetler) Belt.
She was a lifelong Anderson resident and a 1974 graduate of Madison Heights High School. She had worked at Guide Lamp, retiring in 1988, and became a homemaker. She loved life, her family, her Yorkshire terrier, Frankie, and Jimmy Buffett music.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Darwin Teague of Anderson; a daughter, Angela (husband Joshua) Benefiel of Pendleton; and a grandson, Tristan Benefiel, also of Pendleton; and cousins, Jeremy Osborn of Reno, Nev., Liz Daugherty of Eugene, Ore., and Nila Osborn, who was like a mother to her, of Myrtle Creek, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Candace requested that no services be conducted. Cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Madison County, 2229 Crystal St., Anderson, IN 46012.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, Anderson.
