LEWIS CARETIA MAE "PAT"
85, of North Fayette Twp., (formerly of Clinton) passed away at home on Friday morning, September 14, 2012. She was born on August 15, 1927 to the late Beulah (Rhodabarger) and Wilson D. McConnell, Sr. After retiring from Union National Bank, she traveled extensively with her husband and they did volunteer work with Meals On Wheels. She was a member of the Clinton U.P. Church and was also a former member of the Piece and Quilt Club, D.A.R., and the Raccoon Women's Association. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Lewis, Sr.; brother and sister-in-law John R. (Marie) McConnell; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia B. (Lewis) and Robert E. Becker; and a brother-in-law Chester Hoffman. She is survived by her son, H. Richard (Elaine) Lewis; daughters, Linda S. Lewis, and Ginger (Michael) Leber; brother Wilson D. (Mary Lou) McConnell, Jr.; sister, Bonnie (Ronald) Doumont; also five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 12-3 and 6-8 p.m. in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Rt. 30, Clinton. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Clinton U.P. Church, with her Pastor, Rev. Laura Strauss officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in the Clinton U.P. Church Cemetery.
