It seems like just last year or so ago I was remodeling a home in Bloomfield and the gentleman asked if I could also repair his wheelchair ramp and I said sure and a little bit later while outside working I hear a voice behind me say "Charlie Peterson?" "That you"? & I turned around to see Carl standing there with that warm smile & twinkle in his eye & said "Damn Carl, good to see you"! He wouldn't allow me to work without pitching in & afterward his neighbor and us all had a beer & shared some memories! Now it's 7 years since his passing and I was working the area & thought I'd look him up...I'll miss him, a truly wonderful guy!

My condolences on the loss of one of the greatest guys I had the honor of knowing. His smile was always there & always had a kind word about everyone. I worked & partied with Carl back in the 80;s.& what fun we had- we gave him the name

I was so sad to hear of Carl's passing. We worked together for many years at Fed Ex. He was a wonderful person and great friend. Carl with his gentle nature always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. He will be missed by us all.

Carl & I meet many years ago racing our cars on the Berlin Tpk. We raced for several years. At some point we lost track of one another & I asked a mutual friend if he ever heard anything from or about Carl. He gave me his phone number & as it turned out we both had places in FL within 10 miles. we did get together there for lunch a few times. I called him this year & we talked for an hour on the phone. A really great old friend. I will miss him very much. My deepest condolences to his family. Just a wonderful person. Bob Tilden Hebron, CT.
