We recall quietly talking with Carl about his service to our country and thanking him for preserving our freedom. As a member of the"Greatest Generation" he embodied all that is good about our nation. These two grateful "Baby Boomers" will miss hearing his laughter at family functions but know he is now in the arms of the angels. We extend our condolences to his wonderful family. Love, Natalie and Judy

Dear Family,

What a strong and positive force of heroic energy all wrapped up in one human being....Carl Hjerpe! He was a pillar of integrity, true grit and adventure in the lives of all of us who are fortunate enough to have known him and learned from his wisdom and his infallible sense of humor!
We will always picture him surrounded by joyful laughter and a quick wit. Carl LOVED life and lived it to the fullest extent possible!
He has now embarked upon the great march to the kingdom of a glorious reunion with all of the Divine entities of faith. There is no doubt that Heaven's gates opened wide and those who have gone before us were there in great numbers to greet this fully enlightened soul and welcome him HOME.

Phyl, Kari, Anne, Bob and grandchildren: Carl will live forever in your hearts and he is saying, "I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner....All is well."

With deep love and healing thoughts,
Barb, Steve, Kate, Christine and James Mortimer

I was saddened to read of Mr. Hjerpe's passing. He lead a full and active life and gave generously of his time to many organizations.
It's been years since BHS where I remember Anne & Kari. I just wanted you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Chris
