Carl E. Lowell, 87 of Berea peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, October 29, 2020. He was born June 8, 1933 to parents Carlos G. and Helen (nee Koenig) Lowell in Cleveland, OH. Carl was a materials engineer at NASA Glenn Research Center for 31 years. He enjoyed nature photography, travel, classical music and literature. He was a poet and an author. A consummate gentleman and a devoted husband. He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Patricia (nee Syroski); loving children Evelyn Wool (Robert), Martin Lowell, Doug Lowell, Michael Connolly, James Connolly (Suzanne), Tara Turner (Brian Dalisay) and Kelly Wilson (Johnathan); cherished grandchildren Eric, Jennifer, David, Rachel, Lauren, Aiden, Sarah, Christopher, Alexander, Kylie and Jacie; adored great-granddaughter Eve Catherine. He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved aunt "Nana" who raised him as her own.
