Carl E. Prager Jr.

Carl E. "Bo" Prager Jr., 45, of Brackenridge, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, in UPMC Presbyterian, Oakland, following a brief illness. Born Nov. 21, 1965, in Harrison, he was the son of the late Carl E. Prager Sr. and Betty Jane (Ehrmentrout) Prager. He resided in Brackenridge most of his life, and was Protestant by faith. He had been employed by Fox Chapel Golf Club on its ground crew for eight years. Bo enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and cards, and was a No. 1 Steelers fan. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Mary Jo (Bokros) Prager; four children, Mindy Jo Prager, Carl E. Prager III, Jill Prager and Jessica Prager, all of Brackenridge; grandchildren, Haylie Jones, Mackenzie Jones, Seth Jones, Cameron Prager, Ella Prager and Mary Jane Prager; and two sisters, Margie Flatt, of Lower Burrell, and Geneva Williams, of Quakertown. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Prager. Relatives and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 until 11 a.m. Thursday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., Tenth Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, 724-224-1526.
