I was thinking of Aunt Odie today. She made such a positive impact on my life. She really loved Jesus and I remember being a little girl and her reading the Bible to me while sharing her wonderful homemade cakes. She just never grew old, years past and now she is with the Lord. You are with her and mom, Claudia Romayne, and papa (JD) how he loved his sister. I remember you and your friendship with mom. I also remember your visits with your mom. She knew you wanted her closer but she was still being mom to JD. She wanted him to know Jesus. Papa did know Him, finally. Thank you for your kindness to a tiny little girl and making me feel welcome. Thank God you know Him, Jesus. Your mother raised you to love Him and it showed. Until we all meet again. Teresa (Tere)

Carl was a fine man and a friend.
For many years he and his family were members of our church. He contributed in so many ways. They left our church sometime back and found a church nearer home. They were so happy there. We talked many times about his teaching. He was so sincere.
I remember our last phone conversation. I had a stroke and he called me. It was a long conversation. It was such a blessing for me.
So many times, he hosted parties for our Sunday School Class. Great memories!
Emily, we are so sorry we missed the service. But want you to know that we are praying for you and your family. Your family is special to us and we will miss Carl.
May God bless you and give you peace.
Hope to see you soon.
We love you.

Carl was always a joy to know and have as a classmate, as we were, both, members of the last graduating class at Berryhill High School, along with his wife, Emily. It has been a great experience to see them at recent class reunions. May God's greatest comfort be with all the family.
