Memorial services for Carla Denise Clay, 55, of Lufkin, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ron Paul officiating. Denise was born September 5, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in a local hospital. Denise was a loving mother, daughter, sister and partner. She was a member of McKinney Memorial Church in Fort Worth. She was active in deaf ministries and missions and was an interpreter. She also worked in deaf children's ministries in Fort Worth. Survivors include her father, Wayne Paul and wife Terri; mother, Anna Bratton; daughter, Anna Jean Clay; son. D.J. Clay; partner, Sandra Cantu; brothers, Ron Paul and wife Gina and Wyatt Paul and wife Donna; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members. Services are in the care of Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home.
