I met Carmela a few weeks after I arrived in Bedford. She became a kind friend and a wonderful and patient teacher. I am so glad that I had the privelege of knowing her for two short years.

I am so sad we have lost Carmela. I worked with her for a short time. She was the happiest, sunniest person I ever met. My heart goes out to her family.

Carmela was a wonderful friend to me. Always knew the right words to say at just the right time. I shall miss that twinkle in her eyes and that all knowing smile. Just knowing Carmela added a certain something to my life. Angela & Paulo, your names were forever on her lips. Take heart, Amelya

We are so sorry to hear that Lina has passed away. Our thoughts are with Paolo ,Angela and all her family all over the world.
Lina and I shared many tea parties with our children when they were small.She always made us feel welcome and had a great sense of humour.
