Carol Beth Faville

Carol Beth Faville, 75, of Fairfield, New York, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on May 31, 1950, in Herkimer, New York, Carol dedicated her life to education, family, and community. She spent 38 years as a beloved science teacher at Poland Central School, where her vibrant energy and deep care for her students left a lasting impact. Carol's passion for the natural world extended beyond the classroom-she was an active supporter of the Envirothon program, inspiring generations of students to love and protect the environment.

Carol's greatest pride and joy was her family. She was a devoted mother to her five daughters-Margery, Sarah, Jillian, Kimberly, and Kelli-whom she raised with love, strength, and kindness. She was also a cherished grandmother to Aven, Dezra, Rush, Xander, and Phoebe, who brought light to her later years. Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dain, and is survived by her siblings, Bill and Marsha.

Known for her warm heart and generous spirit, Carol had a gift for making others feel welcome. Her home was always filled with the comforting aromas of her baking and home-cooked meals, as she found joy in sharing her passion for food with those she loved. She touched many lives with her caring nature, vibrant personality, and unwavering dedication to her family and students.
