Carol Cavallotti Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 1, 2021.

Carol Cavallotti passed away at home Thursday, Nov. 25.

Born in Meshoppen on July 8, 1959, she was the daughter of Frank Michalowski and the late Betty Jean Clark. She graduated from West Scranton High School. Carol was an outstanding athlete, "going to state" all four years in track and field.

She was a gifted dancer who taught at Arthur Murray School of Dance. You could find her on the dance floor at any function we attended, huge smile in tow. She was a successful businesswoman, as a financial adviser at Prudential, along with owning and operating multiple clothing stores throughout the years, most recently Pop-It Jackets & Accessories with her son, Keith.

She always said her greatest blessing was motherhood, and that blessing was the greatest gift to her two sons. She truly was the greatest mother, wife and granny anyone could ever imagine and we are all so grateful to have been blessed with her presence. She was very dedicated to her faith and is now in heaven.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce; sons, Keith and Bruce and his wife, Kathrine; brothers, Charlie, Rick and Teddy; sisters, Eileen and Betty; along with her grandchildren, Cass and Arlo, who she absolutely adored.

She lived for her family and nothing made her happier than her boys and her grandbabies. Her selflessness, compassion and warmth will live on through all who knew her love.

Friends and family may pay their respects and celebrate Carol's life Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the International Myeloma Foundation Headquarters, 12650 Riverside Drive, Suite 206, North Hollywood, CA 91607.
