Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.
Liturgical wake service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at the mortuary.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, at the mortuary and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church. Friends may sign her online guest book at schriversmemorial.com.
Carol passed away on her father's birthday, Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Carol Ann Cisco was born Nov. 10, 1970, to Carroll and Fran (Dosch) Cisco in Bellflower, Calif. In 1975, she moved with her family to Aberdeen, where she was raised, attended Lincoln Elementary School and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School in 1991. Carol was employed with the ATC for several years before she became disabled. Carol suffered many years with muscular dystrophy and other health concerns.
Carol was a kind, loving and very brave women. She enjoyed riding horses at SPURS. She would always attend and participate in the Special Olympics for many years in Huron, S.D., where she won many medals along with her sisters. She made a trip overseas to Lourdes, France, in 1998. She also enjoyed singing and dancing before she became confined to a wheelchair. She also enjoyed attending church bazaars and playing bingo. Her favorite color was purple and she truly loved all her pets. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
So grateful for having shared her life and love for almost 40 years are her mother, Fran Cisco, of Aberdeen; four sisters, Susan (Rocky) Currington, Laura Schilling, Karen Cisco and Sandra Cisco, all of Aberdeen; one brother, Bob Cisco, of Aberdeen; nieces, Erika (Casey) Hansen and Gina (Rick) Ryan; nephew, Jason (Lacy) Currington; great-nieces, Rachel Ryan, Summer Ryan, Ameila Currington, Charlotte Currington, McKayla Hansen and McKenzie Hansen; her cats and her dog, Bailey.
Carol was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.

Pam and myself really didn't know Carol, but we were blessed in meeting her mother Fran who never left Carol's side while she was in the hospital. The big smile that Carol gave us the day she went home with Fran, we will never forget. God Bless you Carol !!!
