Carol Donovan Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 1, 2024.
Carol Ann Donovan of Winter Park, FL passed away quietly and peacefully in her sleep on June 6, 2024. Born on October 14, 1937 in Lawrence, Mass, Carol was one of seven children. She lived a joyful and fulfilling life constantly surrounded by friends and family.

Carol married the love of her life, Bill Donovan, on August 23, 1959. Together they criss-crossed the country due to Bill's job, living everywhere from Warwick, RI to Cazenovia, NY to Houston, TX to Malibu, CA. In their travels, they met many great friends, but more importantly, had three amazing and wonderful children, Bill Donovan (Kristen), Carolyn Ludwig (John) and Elizabeth Bunnell (Billy).

She loved and delighted in her nine grandchildren including the Donovan's, Kacie, Will and Paddy, the Ludwig's, Caitlin, Eric, Devin and Connor, and the Bunnell's, Joseph and Avery, and their respective spouses and loved ones. She was also loved by her two great grandchildren, Harvey Dowling and Leighton Dowling, as well as her many nieces and nephews across the country.

She was predeceased by her husband Bill and is survived by her two sisters, Sharon Moerloos, (Jack Bedrosian) and Peggy Gradzewicz (Andy), who miss her very much.

She truly was an amazing lady who loved all her family with her entire being and was loved just as passionately in return. She will be profoundly and sadly missed by all.
