Carol Green Obituary

Carol Elizabeth Wright Green

February 15, 1951 - July 26, 2025

With profound sorrow and deep love, we announce the passing of Carol Wright Green, a devoted mother, cherished friend, and radiant soul who left this world on July 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of her two daughters and their families, her sister, two brothers and her nephew. She was 74.

Carol was, simply put, a light in the world. To know her was to "be seen", loved, and accepted-completely and without reservation. She had a heart that knew no bounds, and a spirit that lifted all those lucky enough to be in her orbit. Her kindness was instinctual, her generosity endless, and her laughter unforgettable.

Born and raised in Andover Connecticut, by her parents Ted and Betty (Honey) Wright, Carol built a beautiful life rooted in compassion, humor, and fierce love. She was the proud and loving mother of her daughters, Amie Green, and Erin Green Goldesberry whom she adored beyond measure. Nana Banana to her greatest joys, Joshua and Ashlynn Coulombe, Ava and Ian Goldesberry and her son-in-law Brian Goldesberry. Sister to her siblings Carter (Janet), Susan, and Jonathan Wright and Auntie Maddog to her nieces and nephews. To her lifelong friends Carol was a constant - soul sister, a confidante, a bringer of joy and sometimes mischief. One friend said it best: "If ever there was a beautiful light in this world, it was Carol." She was a "force," in the truest sense - funny, feisty, thoughtful, and fiercely loyal. From heartfelt thank-you notes and hand-painted rocks that touched the hearts of those who helped her, to private acts of neighborly kindness, Carol was always quietly making the world a better place, her passing leaves a space that will be hard to fill.

Though we grieve her passing, we celebrate a life well-lived - a life full of love, laughter, and an enduring legacy of kindness. Heaven has gained a powerful angel, but we here will forever feel the loss. Carol's memory will live on in the hearts she touched, the stories she shaped, and the boundless love she left behind. A celebration of Carol's life will take place in Florida and in Connecticut in the upcoming months. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be done in her memory-just as Carol would have done.

So very sorry for you loss.
She always ALWAYS ended every conversation I had with her.... On the phone or text... with "I love you". And she meant it.
I still can´t imagine a world without her messages of spread the love and kindness.

I will Carol...
