Carol was a friend and teacher to me at Levoy's Studio for many years. I remember going into her office, shared with Rose seeking answers to many questions and never made to feel uninformed or naive in any way. I so very much admired and liked Carol. It has been a pleasure to have been reaqainted with both she and Rose in later year. I am fortunate to be able to consider her a friend. She will be missed. Mary Ellen Heyne
