We have always shared Christmas cards every year, and wondered why I did not get one of her most beautiful, hand painted cards this year. I am so very sad to know that she has passed. We played for many years in the New Horizon's Orchestra at BW. She was a most gracious and loving Mistress of the Orchestra for many years. She was a team player and a good violin friend. After I had left the NHO, we still kept in touch with Christmas cards. We will miss her very much, and keep her, and her family, in our Rosary prayers. We will also have Masses said for her soul. Requiescat in Pace, our beloved Carol!! <3 <3 <3

Carol you brought me a big pot of your chicken soup when I was sick. Oh my what a wonderful, thoughtful, gift. But that was you in all aspects of your life. I will sadly miss our conversations, our shared meals, listening to your violin as we all played together so many mornings and evenings. I will always miss your enthusiasm for life, your talent as a watercolor artist, and the love you shared with all of us. Dear Carol, you have left us far, far too soon.

Carol and I were first cousins. We lived next door to each other for the first 6-7 years of our lives. We enjoyed playing together, but I was devastated when I found out she was moving to Dallas. We still saw each other occasionally over the next 20 years. Finally, after she moved to Cleveland and I took a job in Rochester, we got to visit more often. Carol became an artist and an accomplished violinist. Over the years, a highlight of Christmas was getting one of her hand painted cards. We will miss that. Perhaps her best quality was her concern for other people. She was always willing to help. She never met someone she didn't like. We will miss her greatly. Rest peacefully in God's hands, dear cousin.
