Mr Marasco, Dom, Kim, & Jen. I am so sorry for your loss. As I read all the wonderful messages memorializing your wife/mother, I too recall what a wonderful person Mrs Marasco was. As I recall when I was a young boy growing up in Morningside, she was always so kind to my entire family. My parents spoke very broken English but she would always hold a conversation with them. She treated my sister as a her own daughter. After leaving Pittsburgh in 1995 I did not see her for a while. I returned for a Steelers AFC Championship game, and I saw her at a tailgate party. I spoke to her for an hour as if I had never left Pittsburgh. She was still one of the most kind and sincere people I have ever met. You will mourn as a family but please celebrate all that she has done for others.

MA. for 42 years my friend, healer, my biggest fan.you were the ULTIMATE helper, healer, advice giver. good times bad times we endured them all because of you.for 34 years i was your BABY BOY, and could not of been prouder to call you MOM. 8 years ago i lost the title of your baby boy to the new light of your life ROBBY. then came CHRISTIAN, and ROMAN, and you had your full allotment of baby boys. then you got your princesses CLAUDIA, and SAVANNAH. i could not of been happier to step aside, and let your BABIES find out how SPECIAL you truly are, and that they did. i promise you they know how much NUN loved them. you were a GREAT MOM, and an AWESOME NANA. THANK YOU for making me who i am today. I LOVE YOU MA

For the one thing God wanted so much for us more than anything was the ability to give love and receive love. But to give this he knew that pain would come also. For he loved us so much he sacrificed his son knowing he would endure our earthly pain.  He did this  because we could see he knew what pain was and thay we could not truly understand  love without eventually enduring  pain. So it is today that I write with both,  love and pain. To many , mother-on-law is someone who they acquired through marriage. To me mother-in-law means love, compassion, caring and most of all friend. Carol I will miss our so many morning coffees and conversation that we shared when I should have been at work. I will miss the way that you love your grand children with  no end. You are the true definition of a nana.  I am so thankful for the time they got with you. I will miss how you never have a bad thing to say about anyone even when they might  deserved it.  I will miss how you love And respected your husband, children and grand children , you know what it means to be a family . All though  you are gone I know that you are not far because all I have to do is touch my heart and I know you are here watching, listening and waiting for us all to be together one day. Carol I just want to say thank you for so many years of awesome memories and for accepting me into your life and heart like only a mother could do. You are awesome and I love you and will miss you so very much.

Your son-in-law
Bob

My Wife, what can I say. We had a great ride together for 45 years; we had our ups and downs. We survived through the bad times, we knew that our journey together would not be an easy one, but our love and understanding of each other was stronger than anything that would get in our way. We got to be with our grandchildren together that you truly enjoyed. You spoiled me; sometimes we take things for granted. Never thinking that this could end in an instant, I know you will help me get through this as you always did. During those 45 years you never tried to change me, now I have to do what you did for me over those years. I love you more today than yesterday and less then tomorrow.
You loving husband.
