Carolyn F. Blosser, 88, Jones, Michigan, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 21, 2023, at her home. She was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Olive Township, Elkhart County, Indiana, to Everett J. and Anna (Hunsberger) Eby. On Oct. 9, 1954, she married Virgil E. Blosser, and he died Aug. 18, 2012.

Surviving are a son, Jeffrey Blosser, Union, Michigan; four grandchildren, Betsy (Tony) York, New Castle, Brooks (Laura) Blosser, Nappanee, Chelsie (Jonathan) Kirsits, Granger, Ethan Blosser, Edwardsburg, Michigan; six great-grandchildren, Ava, Ezra, Emmett and Opal Blosser, Soren Blosser and Harrison Kirsits; daughter-in-law, Karen Blosser, Elkhart; sister, Linda Rider, Elkhart; and three brothers, Roger J. (Janice) Eby, Goshen, Rolland (Sandra) Eby, Elkhart, and Rex (Sonia) Eby, Millersburg.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Virgil E. Blosser, son Scott Blosser and a sister, Shelba Leanburg.

Carolyn grew up milking Golden Guernseys, often stating, she loved the baby calves and feeding them more than she liked the kittens and puppies. When she was a little girl her mother's parents taught her hard work, chores, honesty, cleanliness and most important the love and forgiveness of faith in Jesus. She was an avid antique collector and loved gardening. Above all, she loved her family.

Carolyn was a 1952 graduate of Wakarusa High School. Her friends and classmates meant the world to her over the years. She was a homemaker and a member of Mason Township Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon, with the funeral service following at noon, on Saturday, Feb. 25, all at Rieth Rohrer Ehret Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. Dr. Kent Eby will officiate. Burial will follow at Olive (West) Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Mason Township Baptist Church.
