Carolyn Perron Obituary
Carolyn M. Perron (Lynn) was called home by her Lord on June 13, 2025. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Edward and Elsie Mello.
Carolyn began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, serving in hospitals across various states. Driven by a passion for caring for others, she returned to school to earn her associate's degree in nursing and became a Registered Nurse. Her compassion and dedication led her to specialize in geriatric care in long-term care facilities, where she worked until her retirement in 2004.
She was predeceased by her husband, the Reverend Bruce C. Perron, as well as her parents. She is survived by her brother, Edward Mello Jr., and his wife Ann; her nieces, Marianne Zimon and her husband Joshua, and Kristen Mello; her nephew, Thomas Mello; four grand-nieces, Halle, Emma, Vivian, and Lilliana; and her stepdaughter, Michelle Hipp.
Donations may be made in her memory to either Maplecrest Rehabilitation Recreation Fund, 174 Main Street, Madison, ME 04950 and or Beacon Hospice Care, 5 Community Drive, Suite A, Augusta, Maine 04330.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public service.
