Age 101, on Saturday, May 2, 2015, of Rankin. Wife of the late Matthew F. Petrina, Sr.; loving mother of Matthew F. Petrina, Jr. and his late wife, Sena of Plum, David M. Petrina of Bethel Park, and Carol H. Germanoski and her husband, Barry of Acme; dear grandma of Terese and her husband, Stephen, Matthew and his wife, Mary, Claire and her husband, Thomas, Brian, Barry, Jr. and his wife, Dana, Keith and his wife, Nicole and Jill and her husband, Seth; great-grandmother of Stephen, Ethan, Lauren, Madison, Thomas, Graham, Victoria, Grace, Mara and Ali; sister-in-law of Barbara Zagorac; and sister of the late John and Joe Baron. Friends received Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME, INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale. Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, Braddock Hills Thursday 10 a.m.

Linda and I are saddened to read today (as we are currently out of town) of your mother's passing. My memories of her, as I grew up, are nothing but pleasant. Separation is never easy, but I am sure you will always remember her with a smile. 101! A truly remarkable woman!
